Thirteen Moons in Motion: A Dreamspell Primer
By José & Lloydine Argüelles (Valum Votan & Bolon Ik)
“Just as air is the atmosphere of the body,
so time is the atmosphere of the mind;
if the time in which we live
consists of uneven months and days
regulated by mechanized minutes and hours,
that is what becomes of our mind: a mechanized irregularity.
Since everything follows from mind, it is no wonder that
the atmosphere in which we live daily becomes more polluted.
And the greatest complaint is:
‘I just don’t have enough time!’
Who owns your time, owns your mind.
Own your own time and you will know your own mind.”
Jose and Lloydine Argüelles (1992)
The complete description and analysis of the harmonious and cosmic nature of the Thirteen Moon Calendar superseding the anachronistic Gregorian Calendar.

Abstract by the historical Tortuga website:
The rediscovery of the Thirteen Moon Calendar was one of the fruits of the Argüelles (Jose and Lloydine) into the calendar and mathematics of the Ancient Maya of Central America.
This calendar synchronizes solar and galactic cycles on July 26, and hence, this is the New Year’s Day for the New Time. Each moon has a power, action and quality which, taken all together, form an annual pattern of collective behavior called a “Planetary Service Wavespell.”
