Ascension of John Major Jenkins: The Closer of an Era of Mayanism and the Visionary towards a Mayan Sacred Science

The notable American author and Maya scholar departed this dimension last Sunday, 2nd of July, 2017. He died at the age of 53 after a short battle with cancer which was diagnosed around one Tzolkin cycle ago. Following the Ascension of other renowned American proponents of Mayanism, Jenkins’ passing away can be perceived as the symbolic ending for a historical Era of human thought. An experimental period of discovery which has debated between passages of valuable truths but also of evident fallacies. However, since Jenkins was one of the most outstanding academic researchers on Maya Cosmology, he also set the grounds towards the development of an appropriate Sacred Science on Mayan Consciousness. May he be exceptionally recognised for envisioning this evolution.

El notable autor y erudito americano en estudios mayas, dejó esta dimensión el pasado domingo 2 de julio de 2017. Falleció a la edad de 53 años tras haber librado una corta batalla en contra de un cáncer, el cual había sido diagnosticado alrededor de un ciclo Tzolkin atrás. Siguiendo la Ascensión de otros destacados proponentes americanos de Mayanismo, la partida de Jenkins puede ser percibida como el simbólico final para una histórica era de pensamiento humano. Un período experimental de descubrimiento que se ha debatido entre pasajes de valiosas verdades pero también de evidentes falacias. Sin embargo, y ya que Jenkins fue uno de los más destacados investigadores académicos de la Cosmología Maya, él también sentó las bases hacia el desarrollo de una pertinente Ciencia Sagrada de la Conciencia Maya. Es de esperar que, como tal, él sea excepcionalmente reconocido por haber visualizado esta necesaria evolución.
